Brady (undisclosed) is slated to appear on the Patriots' injury report in advance of Sunday's playoff game against the Jaguars, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis: The report adds that Brady is slated to meet with the team's medical staff Wednesday. While there's no reason to believe that Brady's availability for Sunday's AFC championship game is in any peril, it's appears as though he's managing some sort of injury at this stage. Added clarity on that front should arrive upon the release of Wednesday's practice participation/injury report.

The Patriots won't activate Mitchell (knee) from injured reserve, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Analysis: Mitchell's three-week window for activation from IR was scheduled to close Wednesday, and after appearing only a few times in drills during that stretch, the decision was likely an easy one for the Patriots to make. As a result, his second pro campaign will close without a single offensive snap due to a right knee injury suffered in the preseason.

The Jaguars signed Powell to their practice squad Tuesday.

Analysis: With all five receivers on the Jaguars' 53-man roster in seemingly good health entering Sunday's AFC championship against the Patriots, Powell isn't in line for a promotion. Instead, the Jaguars will likely evaluate him in practices for the duration of their postseason run before determining whether he's worthy of keeping around for their offseason program.

Thielen (undisclosed) wasn't active at the portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis: While he was in attendance, Thielen wasn't holding a helmet, so it appears he's getting the day off for one reason or another. If his health is compromised, it will be revealed upon the release of Wednesday's injury report.

Mickens (hamstring) won't appear Wednesday on the Jaguars' first injury report of the week.

Analysis: Mickens was listed as questionable heading into the Jaguars' eventual 45-42 win over the Steelers in the divisional round due to the hamstring injury, with Jacksonville ultimately ruling him inactive for the contest. It's unclear if the injury was the primary reason behind Mickens' absence or if the team's improved health at receiver played more of a factor in the 23-year-old being scratched. Regardless, if Mickens does suit up Sunday in the AFC championship against New England, he'll likely see most of his action on special teams, as was the case in the team's wild-card round victory over the Bills.
